Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute created and supported by the Italian government. Our mission is to conduct cutting-edge research to improve human health and wellbeing by integrating biology, technology and data science.
Human Technopole now seeks to recruit one Scientific Relations Officer, reporting to the Scientific Partnership and Collaboration Coordinator, to provide operational support for the development, coordination and monitoring of scientific partnerships and collaborative initiatives at Human Technopole.
Your mission
The role works closely with HT scientists, internal support functions and external research partners to facilitate the preparation, implementation and follow-up of scientific collaboration agreements, ensuring proper documentation, coordination and alignment with institutional priorities. In particular:
- Support HT scientists in the development and coordination of scientific initiatives involving external collaborators, contributing to the preparation of related plans and documentation.
- Coordinate the preparation and implementation of collaboration agreements, working closely with research groups and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with external scientific institutions and research partners, supporting collaboration activities and agreement processes.
- Draft and manage documentation related to scientific partnerships, including Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), Research Collaboration Agreements and related contractual materials.
- Monitor timelines, deliverables and reporting related to collaboration agreements, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
What you’ll bring:
Essential:
- Master’s degree in scientific discipline, management, law or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in administrative or operational roles supporting research activities, scientific collaborations or research administration.
- Good understanding of research administration processes
- Fluency in English - HT is an international institute
Preferred:
- Background or training in legal aspects of research collaborations (e.g., MoUs, Research Collaboration Agreements)
- Experience in drafting or managing documentation related to scientific collaborations.
Organizational and social skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to coordinate activities involving multiple stakeholders

This is a 3-year contract offered under CCNL Chimico Farmaceutico, Employee Level B2
Salary: up to € 47.000,00 depending on the candidate’s seniority.
The position is based in Milan, Italy, within our vibrant international campus.
