Within this mission, and to further strengthen the General Services team, HT is seeking to recruit a motivated and proactive Warehouse Specialist.

 

Your mission

As Warehouse Specialist you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and organizing the warehouse for optimal efficiency. Working closely with the Procurement and Research teams, you will contribute to ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory flow, and improving overall operational efficiency.  You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

You will enhance your professional skills by:

  • Monitoring and managing inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels. 
  • Performing regular checks to reduce discrepancies between physical stock and system data. 
  • Using management software to track stock movements and generate reports; 
  • Receiving, inspect, and record incoming goods. 
  • Organizing the warehouse efficiently to facilitate picking and replenishment. 
  • Reporting any issues related to the quality or quantity of received goods. 
  • Assisting in forecasting and demand planning of the stock. 
  • Helping in aligning inventory levels with research requirements. 
  • Suggesting improvements to streamline inventory management and warehouse operations.

What you'll bring

 

Essential

  • High school diploma or higher in logistics, business, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, stock handling, or a similar role. 
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Good command of English (written and spoken). 
  • Native Italian speaker or equivalent fluency. 

 

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of stock management procedures and inventory reconciliation. 
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical company, research institute, or product development environment. 

 

Organizational and social skills

  • Ability to spot discrepancies and resolve inventory-related issues. 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving to improve stock levels and warehouse efficiency. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines and priority changes. 
  • A creative problem solver and collaborative with HT staff members and external parties involved in HT operations. 
  • Ability to work with diverse people with tact, diplomacy, discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively address complex and sensitive communication issues.

Salary: up to € 36k depending on the candidate’ seniority.
The position is based in Milan, Italy, within our vibrant international campus.
