We are seeking an ambitious Risk Management Expert operating within the Legal Department and providing operational support to legal activities.

Your mission
The role oversees the Foundation’s risk management framework, ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and monitored across the organization. It supports Departments and Offices in risk evaluation activities and contributes to the development of assessment methodologies assisting the Risk Management Committee.

The position drives the implementation of risk mitigation strategies, supervises crisis management planning, and ensures that risk controls are embedded into governance and operational processes. It also prepares risk reports for governance bodies, liaises with auditors and regulators, and promotes a strong risk culture through training and awareness initiatives.

In this role, you will further deepen your expertise in enterprise risk management frameworks, contributing to the evolution of risk assessment models and governance processes. You will expand your influence in strategic decision-making by advising senior stakeholders on risk exposure and mitigation strategies. The position offers opportunities to strengthen crisis management, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional risk integration, while promoting a mature risk culture across the organization.

What you'll bring

Essential

• Master’s degree in law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in implementing risk assessment methodologies and tools within complex organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting governance bodies and preparing high-level risk analysis reports.
• Experience in collaborating with public authorities, research institutions, or ministries is preferred.
• Experienced in using PowerPoint and other presentation tools to present to executive boards

Preferred

• Professional certifications in risk management (e.g., CRM, CRISC, ISO 31000, or equivalent) are preferred.
• Advanced training or qualifications in crisis management are a plus.
• Experience in collaborating with public authorities, research institutions, or ministries is preferred.

Organisational and soft skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and provide operational support to diverse teams.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities.

Salary: up to € 55.000,00 depending on the candidate’ seniority.
