Within this mission, the National Facility for Genome Engineering and Disease Modeling (NF GEDI) advances patient-specific disease modeling by integrating pluripotent stem cell biology, genome engineering technologies and stem cell–derived tissue models. These activities are carried out in a state-of-the-art automated laboratory, designed to translate and standardize experimental protocols into robust and reproducible workflows using high-throughput robotics and bioengineering platforms.

We are seeking a motivated Technician / Senior Technician to join the Pluripotent Stem Cell (PSCs) Unit.

Your mission
Reporting to the Head of Facility and working closely with the PSCs Unit Supervisor, you will operate in a highly multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the development and execution of experimental activities focused on the generation, characterization and banking of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).


Grow your skills
You will work in an automated, international and multidisciplinary research environment.
In particular, you will:

  • Carry out experimental activities related to pluripotent stem cell generation, maintenance and quality control.
  • Perform reprogramming of somatic cells into iPSCs.
  • Support development of innovative protocols.
  • Contribute to facility operations and inventory management.

What you’ll bring
Essential

  • Master’s degree in Molecular Biology or related field.
  • Experience in stem cell culture and iPSC reprogramming
  • Fluency in English

Preferred

  • PhD in life sciences
  • Molecular biology, flow cytometry, 3D cultures experience

Salary: € 39.000,00
The position is based in Milan, Italy, within our vibrant international campus.
