Within this mission, Human Technopole is opening the High Content Imaging Unit within the Light Imaging National Facility. National Facilities are providing state-of-the-art research infrastructure for Structural Biology, Light Imaging, Genomics, Genome Engineering, and Data Handling and Analysis.
Your mission
- Lead and optimize laboratory operations, ensuring instrument performance, advanced troubleshooting, workflow efficiency, and compliance with SOPs.
- Develop, implement, and execute high-content cell-based assays and technical services, delivering high-quality experimental outcomes.
- Provide expert scientific consultancy to internal and external users, supporting experimental design, complex setups, and data reporting.
- Manage digital platforms (ELN, LIMS), resource allocation, procurement processes, and supplier/service engineer coordination.
- Drive innovation and knowledge sharing through technology upgrades, external collaborations, and training/mentorship activities.

What you'll bring
Essential
- Master’s degree in biology, engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years (Ph.D. included) in a technical or research role, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience in cell culture and cell biology related techniques
- Knowledge of automated liquid handling platforms (e.g. TECAN Fluent, BIOMEK i5/i7 or similar) and High Content Imaging platforms (e.g. REVVITY Opera/Operetta, YOKOGAWA CV7000/CQ3000, Image Express MOLECULAR DEVICES)
- Basic experience of image handling and analysis (FIJI, Cell Profiler and similar software)
- Knowledge of best practices for scientific data handling
- English proficiency
Preferred
- Phd in in biology, engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience with the above-mentioned liquid handling, automated microscopy platforms and image analysis tools: e.g. FIJI scripting, Cell Profiler pipelines
- Data Mining skills with tools like R or KNIME
Organisational and social skills
- Leadership experience, including training and supervising junior staff.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Responsible for addressing high-level technical and operational challenges
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Salary: up to € 45.000,00 depending on the candidate’ seniority.
