Within this mission, the Finance Department at HT is expanding and seeking professionals with specific expertise in accounting and tax related tasks.

We are seeking an ambitious Accounting Payroll, A/R, TAX Officer to support the activities of the Finance Team.

 

Your mission
As Accounting Payroll, A/R, Tax Officer, you will support basic accounting operations, including accounts receivable (A/R), payroll data entry, and tax compliance assistance. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with legal and tax regulations while providing support to internal teams and will report to the G/L, Tax, A/R, Statutory Coordinator.

  • Assisting in recording A/R transactions and reconciliations;
  • Supporting the registration of invoices and receipts;
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure timely processing of payments;
  • Assisting in payroll data entry and verification;
  • Supporting payroll record reconciliation with the general ledger;
  • Helping with the preparation of tax declarations;
  • Reviewing tax-related documentation for accuracy;
  • Supporting senior team members in tax compliance activities;
  • Supporting general ledger activities and reconciliations;
  • Assisting in basic accounting tasks under supervision;
  • Helping to prepare financial documentation for internal and external audits;
  • Maintaining financial records in line with regulatory requirements.

What you'll bring

Essential

  • High school diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in accounting and tax compliance;
  • Basic understanding of A/R processes, payroll processing, and tax compliance;
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial documentation;
  • Fluency in Italian, written and spoken;
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

 

 

Preferred

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Management;
  • 3+ years of experience gained in accounting in research institutes or medium-large companies, characterized by high management and organizational complexity;
  • Experience of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of accounting processes and principles;
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools;
  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence tools.

  • Ability in the management of daily activities and in any critical issues;
  • Problem-solving orientation;
  • Analysis and synthesis skills;
  • Good communication and relational skills;

This is a permanent contract offered under CCNL Chimico Farmaceutico, Level C2.
Salary: up to € 40.000,00 depending on the candidate’s seniority.
